Stoicism runs along side this story. Strength isn’t easy in hard times, nobody has it easy. It’s how you manage and recover that matters. Get busy living!!

What a great book. I finished it in 2 1/2 days. Paul shares his life experiences with great insight and humility. It’s a tale of connection, creating meaning, growth out of pain, and unwavering gratitude. A story of survival, self-awareness, and most of all, hope.

Finally…a well written, stripped-down, honest memoir that offers solid gold nugget advice for anyone who wants to live their life to his/her fullest potential. What begins as an easy read nimbly evolves into a complex web of childhood trauma and life altering medical issues that eventually lead to victory over defeat against all odds. Chapters 17 through the end offer some of the best life lessons I have ever heard. Buy this book. Read it in a quiet space and savor. Then share it with close friends and family and let the conversation begin, which it will.

SO GOOD!! My friend Paul wrote this book- he’s such a cool dude, if I can use that word. His story about growing up, dealing with hardships, finding love, being a success and being vulnerable is such a good read! so many nuggets: spend time with the right people, create your own luck, be intentional and chapter 31 (all of it!). Sharing so much of his personal story, how proud he is of his family and the realness of life is so open and authentic. Loved it!
